Nothing is more frustrating than filling up your dumpster only to find out certain items aren’t allowed. Here’s the clear breakdown:
Generally Accepted Materials:
Construction & demolition debris (wood, drywall, flooring, siding)
Household junk & furniture
Yard waste & brush (from storm cleanup)
Roofing shingles & tiles
Concrete & aggregate (limited amounts – call us first)
Home cleanout items for property flips
Items We Do NOT Accept (Prohibited):
Hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, asbestos, oils)
Tires & batteries
Railroad ties
Appliances containing Freon (refrigerators, AC units)
Medical waste or biohazards
Liquids or flammable materials
Do not place prohibited items in the dumpster. If found, a $300 fee applies per prohibited item, except tires at $100 each. Electronics are not on our prohibited list; call with questions about a specific item.
Weight Limits Matter Too...
Additional weight is $100 per ton above your included allowance. We’ll explain how to load smartly when you order.
At Veterans Edge Waste Solutions, we make sure you know the rules upfront so there are no surprises on pickup day.
